A man was killed by a train at a station in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, an electric train killed a 39-year-old man crossing railway tracks. An inspection has been organized, according to the Siberian Transport Police.

The tragedy occurred last weekend at the Pervomaiskaya station. The driver applied emergency braking and gave sound signals, but the collision could not be avoided.

As a result of the incident, a 39-year-old local resident received various injuries, from which he died on the spot. It was established that he crossed the railway tracks in an unintended place, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

The materials collected by the transport police will be transferred to the Eastern Interregional SU for Transport of the Russian Investigative Committee for further verification. The circumstances of the person's death are being established.

The night before, a freight train collided with a passenger car at a railway crossing in the Amur region. As a result, a man was killed and a woman was injured.
