A man died in a fire at a farm building in Slyudyanka in the Irkutsk region.

In Slyudyanka in the Irkutsk region, a 50-year-old man died as a result of a fire in an outbuilding. This is reported by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

The fire occurred on the night of Monday, May 12, on Sovetskaya Street. The fire was located in an outbuilding, and the fire moved from it to a garage with a car inside.

Firefighters arrived and rescued two nearby buildings from the fire and extinguished the fire. The fire area was 48 sq. m.

During the dismantling and shedding of structures in a burnt-out outbuilding, the body of a 50-year-old man was found on a sofa, IrkutskMedia news agency clarifies.

The preliminary cause of the fire in the Ministry of Emergency Situations is called a short circuit of the electrical wiring. All the circumstances of the incident are being established.

On May 6, a fire was reported in a private house in the Srednekolymsky district of Yakutia. As a result, an elderly woman died.
