Channel Five's charity projects "Day of Good Deeds" and "Day of the Angel" have helped thousands of people. This was announced on May 12 by the TV channel.

The Angel Day project was designed to change attitudes towards charity through fascinating stories and support children left without parental care. So, the most cherished dreams of a child could be fulfilled on the air: meetings with idols, travels, master classes. Since 2013, 441 children have found a family.

"Day of Good Deeds" is broadcast on Channel Five every Thursday. For ten years, each episode of the program tells about a child who needs urgent help. During the existence of the transfer, more than 5 billion rubles were transferred to the partner funds.

"The charity projects "Day of Good Deeds" and "Day of the Angel" on Channel Five are wonderful programs that inspire people to do good deeds and help create an atmosphere of warmth and care, a real godsend for everyone who believes in the power of kindness and mutual assistance. You inspire people to make the world a better place by giving hope and support to those who need it. I wish these wonderful projects further success and many happy moments on the air! May each new issue be filled with light and kindness!" said Alina Kabayeva, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Media Group (NMG), head of the Alina Kabayeva Charitable Foundation, General Partner of the Angel Day program.

Earlier, on April 13, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina announced that through a charity service on the capital's portal mos.ru which appeared in October 2020, Muscovites have allocated over 200 million rubles to programs of non-profit organizations. She noted that donations go to support seriously ill children and adults, people with special needs, the poor and those in difficult situations, homeless animals and other initiatives.
