The Russian Embassy in Yemen announced the evacuation of sailors from the tanker Seven Pearls.

The crew of the tanker Seven Pearls, which was injured in the US strikes on the Yemeni port of Ras Isa, including 19 Russian citizens, will be evacuated in the next three to four days. This was announced on May 12 by the Russian Embassy in Yemen.

"The shipowner has sent a new team to the port [Ras Isa]. Within three or four days, she will replace the crew, which cannot leave the Yemeni territorial waters after the American strikes," an unnamed employee of the diplomatic mission told TASS.

It is reported that at the moment the tanker is located near Ras Isa, which is located on the shores of the Red Sea in the province of Hodeidah, controlled by the Houthis.

On the morning of April 26, Al Masirah TV channel reported on a series of airstrikes by the United States on the territory of Yemen under the control of the Houthis. Then Washington launched an attack on Sanaa, as well as on the provinces of Saada, Al-Mahwit and Al-Hodeida.

In the evening of the same day, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Houthi government in Sanaa, Jamal Amer, announced the injured sailors from Russia on the tanker Seven Pearls. Roman Kashpor, Igor Kazachenko and Artyom Vanin were injured in the attacks. Later, a representative of the Seven Pearls crew said that the injured Russians had been transferred to Sanaa, and they were subsequently transported to Moscow.
