A one-and-a-half-year-old boy lost his fingers on an escalator in a shopping mall in Ussuriysk. This was reported on May 12 by a source of Izvestia.
The child was in the shopping center with his mother and older brother. When he ran to the escalator, he tripped and fell, and his left hand got caught in a moving mechanism, the source explained.
As a result, the boy lost four fingers. He was urgently taken to the intensive care unit of the city hospital. The child's condition is assessed as severe.
According to the source, the mother had previously been prosecuted for theft. At the moment, law enforcement officers are conducting an inspection.
On April 16, a two-year-old child in Dagestan was not under adult supervision, as a result of which he died due to a cabinet fall. It was clarified that the victim's relatives went to a medical facility, where the minor later died.
