Several dozen people were killed in a militant attack in Burkina Faso.

An attack by radical jihadists in the city of Djibo in northern Burkina Faso has killed several dozen people. This was reported by the AFP news agency on May 12.
"Several dozen soldiers and civilians were killed on Sunday as a result of another jihadist attack," RIA Novosti said.
According to the newspaper, there were more than 100 attackers, they simultaneously attacked a military detachment, police posts and city blocks.
Last year, 15 people died in an attack on a church in Burkina Faso. The victim of the terrorist attack was the Catholic community of the village of Essakane during Sunday prayers.
Christian churches in the country have suffered from terrorist attacks more than once, and jihadists are increasingly abducting clerics.
