Russian Schneider reached the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament in Rome

Russian Diana Schneider defeated Belgian athlete Elise Mertens in the fourth round of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tournament in Rome on May 12.

The meeting lasted 77 minutes and ended with a score of 6:2, 6:3 in favor of Schneider, Sport-Express notes.

In the quarterfinals, the tennis player will play with the winner of the match between Italian Yasmin Paolini (6) and Elena Ostapenko from Latvia (17).
