A new residential complex for resettlement under the renovation program has been commissioned in the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo area. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin visited the new building on Nikolay Ozerov Street and handed the keys to the first residents.

The residential complex includes 9 entrances for 962 apartments, 11 of them are equipped for people with limited mobility. Residents from eight old houses in the same area, about 1.5 thousand people in total, will be relocated to the new building, Sobyanin stressed in his Telegram channel.

According to the mayor, the new settlers will receive not only comfortable housing, but also a well-maintained house territory with sports and playgrounds, as well as a recreation area. There are two metro stations in walking distance from the new building — Tushinskaya and Spartak, as well as MCD-2.

"The Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo district is actively developing — comfortable social and transport infrastructure has been created around it in recent years," Sobyanin said.

The renovation program in Pokrovsky-Streshnev includes 48 houses. To date, 11 of them have already been settled or are in the process of settling. According to the mayor, a total of 8.3 thousand residents of the district will receive new apartments under the program.
