The Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation into an attack by an Alabai dog on a six-year-old boy in Shatura, Moscow region. This was reported on April 12 in the Telegram channel of the department.

"The prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation into a dog attack on a six—year-old boy in the city of Shatura," the publication says.

It is reported that on May 9, a dog ran out from under the fence of a private house on Pionerskaya Street and attacked a child who was riding by on a bicycle at that moment. The incident was witnessed by the child's mother and passers-by who drove the animal away.

As a result of the attack, the boy was diagnosed with shoulder and head abrasions. The victim received the necessary medical assistance.

It is indicated that, based on the results of the prosecutor's inspection, measures will be taken to compensate for the damage caused.

Earlier, on April 24, a source from Izvestia reported that a girl had been hospitalized in Dagestan after being bitten by a dog. It was clarified that an administrative protocol had been drawn up against the child's parents under Article 5.35 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure by parents or other legal representatives of minors to fulfill their responsibilities for the maintenance and upbringing of minors").
