A man on a snowmobile fell through the ice of a lake in the Murmansk region

In the Murmansk region, a man on a snowmobile fell into the washout of Lake Lovozero. The 38-year-old victim died.

The incident occurred on the night of May 9 in the area of Yulinskaya Salma. According to the Bi-port news agency, the man was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Rescuers remind that in early May, the spring flood entered an active phase. Washouts formed on most reservoirs, the ice became thin and darkened. Going out on the ice is life-threatening.

At the end of April, in the Tomsk region, an airboat capsized on the Nyrolka River with five passengers. Four people got ashore on their own, one person drowned.
