In Russia, there is a Gazelle NN car with all-wheel drive for ambulances. It is designed to work in regions with difficult transport accessibility and harsh climatic conditions, the Modern Transport Technologies company said in a statement, which was received by Izvestia on May 12. The model is currently undergoing factory and certification tests. After launching into production, it will replenish the fleets of ambulances in rural areas.

The technological equipment of the machine was developed jointly with the A.S. Puchkov Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care Station. The equipment is positioned according to the doctor's work scenarios: convenience of movement, access to stretchers, attachment points and storage modules are taken into account. Metal-plastic furniture was used (lightweight, durable, easy to disinfect). The monoprivod modification of the medical Gazelle NN, which has been mass-produced since last year, has the same interior.

The Gazelle NN 4x4 ambulance is built on a platform with a 3145 mm wheelbase and a high roof, which allows doctors to work in the cabin at full height. The single-pitched rear axle with more compact wheel arches allowed for increased interior space.

The car is equipped with a plug-in all-wheel drive transmission, an electronically controlled transfer case and a rear axle differential lock. A 2.5-liter G51A diesel engine (149 hp; 330 Nm; Euro-5) is installed under the hood of the ambulance. The model has LED headlights, an automatic sliding footrest at the sliding door and a multimedia system with integrated navigation.

On April 29, it was reported that sales of a new model of the Valdai 18 bonnetless truck had started in Russia. The vehicle with a gross weight of 18 tons and a load capacity of up to 12.2 tons is designed for short and medium-haul transportation, work in public utilities and performance in the city.
