More than 38 million people watched the Victory Day Parade broadcast.

The television broadcast of the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was watched by more than 38 million people, such data was provided to Izvestia on May 12 by Mediascope.

According to the company, the total viewership of the parade was 38.4 million people in the age group over four years old across Russia. The viewing share was 93.7%.

The broadcast was carried out by REN TV, Channel Five, Channel One, Rossiya-1, CTC and other TV channels. In 2024, the broadcast audience for the May 9 parade was 32.6 million people over the age of four across Russia.

In dozens of regions, actions in honor of the 80th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War were held in a face-to-face format.

On May 9, the Victory Day Parade in the Great Patriotic War was held on Red Square. More than 11 thousand military personnel took part in it, including 1.5 thousand special operation soldiers. The event was attended by more than 25 foreign leaders, as well as military personnel from countries friendly to Russia and foreign delegations.
