A man tried to set fire to a bank branch in St. Petersburg
A man tried to set fire to a bank branch on Bely Kun Street in St. Petersburg in order to return 4 thousand rubles. A source told Izvestia about this on May 12.
"An unknown person entered the department on May 11, spilled a supposedly flammable liquid on the floor, took out a lighter and threatened to start a fire," the source explained.
He added that a year and a half ago, the credit institution withheld 4,000 rubles from the man's bank card, and he wanted to return them.
The 43-year-old attacker was taken to the police station. An administrative protocol has been drawn up against him under Article 20.21 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Appearance in public places in a state of intoxication"). Later it turned out that he was registered at a neuropsychiatric clinic.
