UAC handed over a new batch of Su-35S fighters to the Russian Defense Ministry

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) has handed over a batch of Su-35S multi-role fighters to the Russian Ministry of Defense. This was announced on May 12 by the corporation's press service in the Telegram channel.

"The UAC has handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense another batch of new Su-35S multi-role fighters. The 4++ generation aircraft underwent a full cycle of factory tests, were tested in various operating modes and flew to their home airfield," the message says.

According to the UAC, the pilots of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) note the positive flight characteristics of the aircraft. At the same time, they meet the requirements that are necessary to perform combat cover missions, as well as for priority control of airspace.

The Su‑35S fighter is designed to destroy ground and surface targets at any time of the day, as well as to operate in difficult weather conditions at great distances from the home airfield.

In addition, the company clarified that new batches of Su-35S, Su-34 and Su-57 aircraft are also in production. Vadim Badekha, General Director of the UAC, added that the corporation is actively providing supplies of combat aircraft under the current year's program.

On April 19, the UAC handed over a batch of new Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Defense Ministry. The bomber is designed to destroy ground, flood and air targets, infrastructure facilities protected by an air defense system. It can also be used for aerial reconnaissance missions.
