The Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) considers military personnel to be expendable. This was announced on May 12 by the captured military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuri Tatarenko.

According to the militant, he was stopped on the street by employees of the shopping mall (the territorial recruitment center, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) and asked to show his documents, which is how Tatarenko ended up in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"They said: "Get in the car, we'll take you now, and you'll be home in the evening." I haven't been home yet. We were sent as infantry," said the prisoner.

He said that he and a colleague were wounded, after which this was reported to the command. According to the soldier, they sat in a dugout for several hours without receiving any help, and then they were captured.

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not value the lives of its personnel and is not going to help them on the battlefield, Tatarenko stressed.

"How many times have I heard reports on radeyka that they were bombed and need to be evacuated, and a rollback is needed. They are told: "Still hold on, hold on."..> Such a consumable. No one counts us," he added.

On May 3, Konstantin Taukach, a captured soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, shared that entire companies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuse to follow orders from their commanders because they do not want to die. He noted that at the moment, the Ukrainian militants have too low morale, since there are practically no military personnel left. According to the prisoner, the command perceives the militants as expendable, since no one looks at human health.
