Two children's playrooms have been opened at the central clinic in Debaltseve, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), as part of a joint project between the Popular Front and the Charitable Foundation for Children of Donbass, created by ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank. This is reported by the correspondent of Izvestia.

"It was important for the children to be beautiful and comfortable, so that visiting these children's rooms would make the children happy and bring smiles. Of course, it was important that the contents of these children's rooms demonstrated the symbols of Russia, so that children from an early age were brought up on this information, grew up, and knew that they could be proud of their city, their region, and their country," explained Kristina Fedoseeva, director of the Charity Foundation for Children of Donbass.

Children can watch cartoons, play, read and draw in such rooms for adaptation and comfort during the treatment period. It is specified that the play areas in the institution were opened on the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War as a symbol of peaceful life.

Similar rooms will appear in children's hospitals and polyclinics in all new regions of Russia. It is noted that 13 rooms out of 39 planned rooms have already been opened.

Earlier, on March 31, in the village of Petrovka of the Lugansk People's Republic (LNR), the ninth game zone was opened on the basis of medical institutions in the region. It was clarified that when designing the space, the recommendations of specialists in child development were taken into account: the walls were painted by Lugansk artists, toys, books and educational games were placed in the room. A program with Russian animated films has also been prepared.
