Putin urged to preserve the memory of the courage and solidarity of our ancestors in the fight against Nazism

It is necessary to cherish the memory of the lessons of history and the solidarity of our ancestors in the battle against Nazism, racism and colonialism. This was stated on May 12 by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address to the participants and guests of the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia — the Islamic World: KazanForum".

"This year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Addressing this significant date will find a worthy place in the business and cultural program of the forum.
