Russian Bobrovsky became the first star of the NHL playoff match against Toronto

Russian goalkeeper of "Florida" Sergey Bobrovsky deflected 23 shots during the fourth match of the quarterfinal playoff series of the National Hockey League (NHL) with "Toronto", thanks to which the team won. The game took place on May 12 and ended with a score of 2:0.

Carter Verage (16th minute) and Sam Bennett (53rd minute) scored goals. As a result of the match, Bobrovsky was recognized as the first star of the meeting.

For the Russian goalkeeper, this game was the second "zero" in the current playoffs. Prior to that, his goal had never been scored in the second match of the first round against Tampa, the score was also 2-0.

The score in the series of up to four wins between Florida and Toronto was 2:2. Their next meeting will take place on the night of May 15, Moscow time in Toronto.

On May 10, the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team defeated Alexander Ovechkin's Washington Capitals in the third match of the second round of the NHL playoffs. The game ended with a score of 4:0.
