Part of the walking routes of the Gardens and Flowers Festival has been opened

A part of the walking routes of the Gardens and Flowers festival has opened in Moscow. This was announced on May 12 on the official website of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
It is noted that one of the key projects of the Moscow Gardens and Flowers festival has become the original walking routes with exhibition gardens, some of which have opened in the center of the capital. So, it begins in the botanical garden with rare southern plants and a real tropical waterfall on Manezhnaya Square and leads past the forest on the stairs of the Russian State Library, passes over a Large Stone Bridge decorated with colorful ampel plants, and along the New Arbat, and then along the Boulevard Ring.
One of the routes runs along Tverskaya Street, where urban flower beds with flowers and green compositions are installed from Mokhovaya Street to Pushkin Square.
You can also see an unusual garden with ten-meter-high southern cypresses and a rose garden near the monument to the poet Alexander Pushkin and walk through the modern art space on Tverskaya Boulevard, inspired by the energy of nature and the dynamics of the modern city with its culture and unique atmosphere.
In addition, there are arch facades in Stoleshnikov Lane, which are decorated in the style of old Moscow mansions. There are retail outlets located inside, which create a colorful atmosphere due to the special design.
It is specified that the projects of the festival will be built in stages until the end of June this year. So in Kamergersky Lane, visitors will be able to see the lemon garden, landscape compositions in decorative pots decorated in the Moscow Baroque style on Nikolskaya Street and a multi-level garden with miniature waterfalls on Kuznetsky Bridge Street.
Earlier, on May 7, the organizers of the Gardens and Flowers festival said that Novy Arbat Street in Moscow was decorated with a festive garden with the central composition "Flame of Victory" in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). The flower beds on Tverskaya Street were also covered with red panels, and 80,000 scarlet carnations were planted at the foot of the lime trees.
