Attacks by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Russian territories on the eve of Victory Day are a manifestation of state terrorism, but attempts by the Ukrainian authorities to disrupt the celebrations of May 9th for millions of people were doomed to failure. This was announced on May 12 by the President of Abkhazia, Badra Gunba.

The Abkhaz leader also called the attacks by Ukrainian drones attempts to erase his own memory. Gunba added that the desire to disrupt the celebration is also a manifestation of neo-fascism.

"This is state terrorism. The Ukrainian authorities are against memory itself," the president said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

In addition, he noted that the heroes of the Soviet period greatly contributed to the formation of Ukraine in its current form, because if not for them, then the country probably would not have existed in the form in which it currently exists.

On May 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had violated the ceasefire 14,043 times during the truce. According to the ministry, the Ukrainian army has made five attempts to break through the Russian state border in the Kursk and Belgorod regions.
