Russia's decision to launch a special military operation is fully justified. This was announced on May 12 by the President of Republika Srpska (an entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH) Milorad Dodik.

"President [of the Russian Federation Vladimir] Putin is a man who perfectly understands where the world is, where Russia is located. And he responded quite justifiably by launching a special military operation," he said in an interview with RT.

In addition, the President of Republika Srpska drew attention to the fact that, for example, when a US citizen has a problem, Washington immediately intervenes.

"When Americans have problems anywhere in the world, one citizen immediately intervenes. And the Russians, it turns out, have no right to protect their 15 million people or even more?" said Dodik.

He noted that 35 states had joined forces against Russia, which gave the Ukrainian conflict much broader features. He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin turned out to be more far-sighted than many world leaders. In his opinion, the Russian leader prevented a global conflict.

On May 10, Senator Alexei Pushkov, Chairman of the Russian Federation's Commission on Information Policy and Interaction with the Media, announced that Russia plays a key role in establishing a new world order based on multipolarity.
