A bombing by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on a girls' school in the city of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip killed 15 people, including children. This was reported on May 12 by Al Jazeera TV channel.

"The death toll has increased (from seven. Up to 15 people, including children, as a result of the Israeli bombing of the Jabalia girls' school in the northern Gaza Strip," the report says.

It is specified that the strike carried out by the Israeli army as part of a military raid on the northern part of the Gaza Strip hit the second floor of the school.

On May 6, the Palestinian TV channel Al Aqsa reported the death of 20 people as a result of Israeli air strikes on a school in the Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip. It was noted that children were among the dead. Dozens of people were injured.
