Two people were injured in an accident on the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk–Kholmsk highway. This was reported on May 12 in the press service of the State traffic Inspectorate of the Sakhalin region.
It was previously established that the driver behind the wheel of a Toyota Rush foreign car lost control and skidded the vehicle, after which he drove into a ditch with a subsequent rollover.
"As a result of a traffic accident, the driver and a 20-year-old passenger of the car were injured," the press service said in a Telegram channel.
In addition, the department noted that the driver of the car did not have the right to drive a vehicle. Additional circumstances of the incident are being established.
On May 11, the state traffic Inspectorate of the Rostov region reported that an accident had occurred on the Rostov–Azov highway, as a result of which one person was killed and another injured. According to preliminary data, the driver, born in 1990, while driving a Honda motorcycle, lost control, fell, followed by hitting a metal barrier fence.
