Israeli aircraft attacked the ports of Ras Isa, Hodeidah and Es Salif, which are located on the shores of the Red Sea in the province of Hodeidah in Yemen controlled by the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis). This was reported on May 11 by Al Arabiya TV channel.

According to the newspaper, at least 10 strikes were carried out at the port of Ras Isa. The Israeli military explained that these ports are used by the Yemeni movement to conduct combat operations.

In addition, the representative of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Avichai Adrai called for the evacuation of three ports in Yemen controlled by the Houthis before the airstrikes.

"We strongly ask everyone who is in these ports to evacuate and stay away from them for your own safety," Adrai said on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

On May 9, the Yemeni rebel movement attacked the Lod airport, known in Israel as Ben Gurion, in Tel Aviv using a hypersonic ballistic missile. The Yemeni military forces reported that their missile forces conducted a precision military operation aimed at Ben Gurion Airport, located in the occupied Yafa region.
