The reconstruction of the battles of the Great Patriotic War took place in Vologda

The event was attended by reconstructors from Vologda and residents of other cities. Since 2016, this event has been held annually, each time it is dedicated to a separate episode of the Great Patriotic War (WWII).
Pyrotechnics were used during the reconstruction to simulate hand grenade explosions, as well as naked weapons equipped with flash-bang cartridges. During the demonstration of the battle, commentators explained exactly what the reenactors dressed in historical military uniforms were playing out.
In addition, various interactive platforms were organized for the audience.
On the same day, a monument to cadets of the Lepel Infantry and Cherepovets military schools was unveiled in Cherepovets. Graduates of 1940-1941 almost completely died on the battlefields of the Second World War. The monument is a sculptural group of three figures of fighters, wreaths and carnations were laid to them.
