Tractor collided with train in Belarus


In the Brest region of Belarus, a tractor collided with a train carrying 151 passengers. This was announced on May 11 by the Belarusian Railway (BZhD).
It is specified that the incident occurred on May 11 at 11:36 Moscow time at a regulated railway crossing, where there was no employee on duty, in the area between Kobrin and Gorodets. At the same time, the light and sound alarms worked.
"There were 151 passengers on the train at the time of the incident. According to operational information, none of them were injured," the Belarusian Railways Telegram channel says.
As a result of the incident, the lining of the wagons was damaged. Currently, the Belarusian Railway is taking measures to arrange the delivery of passengers to their final destinations.
On the same day, a bus left the road and fell into a chasm in Sri Lanka. It is specified that public transport was traveling from Kataragama to Kurunegala. As a result of the incident, 21 people were killed and 35 others were injured.
