The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, is once again trying to tell the leader of a sovereign state how to act, which is unacceptable and requires personal discussion. On May 11, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico told reporters.

Speaking at a press conference, Fico noted that Callas is a high-ranking official, but, in his opinion, she cannot tell the prime minister of a sovereign state what he should do. He added that this was the second time this had happened, and promised to resolutely explain his position at a personal meeting with her, RIA Novosti reported.

In addition, the Prime Minister wrote on his Facebook page (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) that he had repeatedly noticed Callas's statements in connection with his visit to Moscow and the upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"I am in Moscow to pay tribute to the more than 60,000 soldiers of the Red Army who died during the liberation of Slovakia. I don't understand what these brave people have to do with the current international situation," he wrote.

Fico also expressed disagreement with the policy of the new Iron curtain, which, according to him, Kallas actively promotes. In addition, he again asked how it is possible to conduct diplomacy and foreign policy if politicians are prohibited from meeting and having a dialogue on controversial issues.

On May 10, the Prime Minister of Slovakia described his trip to Moscow, timed to coincide with Victory Day, as extremely successful. He clarified that in the capital of the Russian Federation he managed to hold talks with the President of Russia, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, President of Brazil Luis Inacio Lula da Silva and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam.
