A man suspected of kidnapping a local resident was detained in Ingushetia.
Law enforcement agencies have detained a man suspected of abducting a local resident at a store in Magas. This was reported on May 11 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Ingushetia.
It is specified that on May 10, a group of at least six people committed a kidnapping with the use of weapons. After the crime, the attackers fled the scene.
In this regard, a criminal case was opened under paragraphs "a", "c", "d" of Part 2 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Abduction of a person by a group of persons by prior agreement with the use of violence dangerous to life and health, and with the use of weapons"). One of the suspects was detained and taken to the investigative department, where charges will be brought against him in the near future and a preventive measure will be chosen.
"The location of the victim has also been established, he was hospitalized in a medical facility in the city of Nazran with various injuries," the SU IC Telegram channel says.
The details of the incident are currently being determined.
On April 29, a drunk man was detained in the city of Uyar in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, who tried to kidnap a nine-year-old boy. He approached the children on the playground and invited one of them to go with him, but after refusing, he grabbed the child by the hand and threatened him. The boy managed to escape thanks to a neighbor who came out to the noise. A criminal case has been opened against the attacker.
