The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired 102 rounds of ammunition in the Belgorod region during the day. This was announced on May 11 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
He clarified that the Ukrainian shelling affected the village of Razumnoye, the villages of Belovskoye, Bessonovka, Varvarovka and others. As a result of the attack, a woman in Clear Dawns was injured, buildings and cars were damaged.
In addition, Gladkov added, the town of Valuiki and surrounding villages were shelled. As a result of an APU drone strike, a man was injured, cars and an administrative building were damaged.
"In the Volokonovsky district, two explosive devices were dropped from a drone in the village of Tishanka. A commercial facility was damaged, and a private house and outbuildings were destroyed by fire," the governor wrote on his Telegram channel.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also attacked the villages of Bezymeno and Mokraya Orlovka. As a result of the attack, houses and cars were damaged. Gladkov reported that 73 rounds of ammunition had been fired in the village of Prilesye and surrounding villages. The consequences are currently being clarified.
According to the governor, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also shelled Shebekino. They used four shells and 33 drones. It is specified that 22 of them were eliminated.
On May 5, it was reported that Russian air defense systems shot down nine UAVs over the territories of the Kursk and Belgorod regions. It was clarified that five were eliminated over the territory of the Kursk region and four over the Belgorod region.
