At least 15 people died in a bus accident in Sri Lanka.

A bus left the road and fell into a chasm in Sri Lanka, killing at least 15 people and injuring 35. This was reported on May 11 by the Daily Mirror.

It is specified that public transport was traveling from Kataragama to Kurunegala.

"According to police, more than 35 passengers were injured in the accident and were rushed to the hospital for treatment," the publication said.

On May 10, a passenger bus, a truck and a passenger car collided in Canakkale, Turkey. Eight people were killed in the accident, and 20 more are in hospital. There are patients in serious condition among the hospitalized victims. The prosecutor's office is establishing all the circumstances of the accident.
