It became known about the resumption of rice supplies from the United States to Russia

The United States has resumed rice exports to Russia. This was reported on May 11 by RIA Novosti with reference to data from the American statistical service.

It is specified that regular shipments of wild rice were suspended in March 2022, and the last one-time shipments took place in May last year.

Statistics show that in February 2025, Russia began purchasing wild rice from the United States again, spending $154.7 thousand for this purpose. In March, the volume of purchases amounted to $294.2 thousand. Thus, in two months, Russia purchased about $450,000 worth of rice from the United States.

On May 10, it was reported that the United States began exporting cosmetics to Russia. In February, the volume of shipments amounted to $15.8 thousand, and in March this figure increased to $504 thousand, which was a record for the last three years.
