Putin: some countries are trying to talk to Russia in the language of ultimatums

Some states are trying to talk to the Russian Federation in the language of ultimatums, they do this even during the celebration of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). This was announced on May 11 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a press conference in the Kremlin.

"They are still trying, we can see it right these days, to talk to us, in fact, in a boorish manner and with the help of ultimatums," the president stressed.

"We suggest that the Kiev authorities resume negotiations"

Vladimir Putin announced Russia's readiness to start a direct dialogue with Ukraine on May 15.

Putin also said on May 11 that Russia was offering Ukraine to resume direct talks on May 15 during a meeting in Istanbul. He stressed that a possible truce should not become a prologue to the continuation of the conflict after the rearmament and resupply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
