Putin: The Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered very heavy losses attacking the Russian Federation during the truce

The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffered very heavy losses during attempts to strike at the territory of the Russian Federation during the declared three-day truce. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference in the Kremlin on May 11.

"All these attacks, including attempts to enter the territory of the Russian Federation in the Kursk region and the Belgorod region, have been repulsed. <...> The enemy has suffered very heavy losses," Putin said.

The Russian President added that these attacks by Ukrainian militants "had no military significance" and were carried out based on political considerations.
