The United States has approved the transfer by Germany of 100 missiles for the Patriot air defense system and 125 long-range artillery shells for Ukraine. This was reported on May 10 by The New York Times, citing a representative of the American Congress.

"The United States has approved Germany's transfer of 125 long—range artillery missiles and 100 Patriot air defense missiles," the publication said.

In addition, according to the newspaper, the coalition of European countries that support Ukraine has been unable to supply the funds needed by Kiev since US President Donald Trump made it clear that Europe should "take on most of the burden" to ensure the security of the Kiev regime.

European countries will still continue to supply weapons to Kiev, however, as experts of the publication noted, in the arms industry, it will take many years to bring European assembly lines to full capacity.

Political commentator Slawomir Bilinski reported on May 7 that the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) warehouses with equipment and ammunition are almost empty due to aid to Ukraine. According to him, experts believe that in the event of an unexpected conflict, many NATO armies will face serious military response problems during the first weeks.
