The media reported explosions in Jammu and Kashmir after the ceasefire agreement

In Jammu and Kashmir, a few hours after the announcement of a ceasefire by India and Pakistan, explosions occurred. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on May 10.
According to local residents and eyewitnesses cited by the agency, explosions were heard in the cities of Srinagar and Jammu, and shells and flashes were seen in the sky over Jammu.
"Military representatives of both countries did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the situation," the article said.
Earlier in the day, the Indian Foreign Minister said that the military commands of the two countries had held talks and agreed on the cessation of all hostilities from 17:00 local time (14:30 Moscow time), while the term "cease-fire" was not used.
Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed that an agreement had been reached with India on an immediate ceasefire. He stressed that Pakistan has consistently stood for peace and security in the region, without sacrificing its sovereignty and territorial integrity. At the same time, Dar stated that Pakistan's strikes on Indian territory were a defensive measure. He also added that Indian aggression is unacceptable, calling their actions over the past 48 hours a "continuous stream of lies."
