Comprehensive assistance is provided in Moscow to the participants of the SVR, their families, residents of new regions and those affected in the border areas. The city has several dozen destinations for this, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"Citizens and businesses are making their contribution: more than 4.8 million humanitarian goods have already been collected. 77.4 thousand Muscovites and about 700 organizations participated in the assistance," Sergunina said.

The headquarters of the Moscow Helps campaign have been opened in all districts, where humanitarian parcels are accepted: food, books and toys for children, personal hygiene products. And the capital's entrepreneurs send their goods to the front: products with a long shelf life, warm clothes, household supplies.

In addition, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, the Museum of Heroism at VDNH presented an updated exposition as a symbol of gratitude to the soldiers who defend Russia's interests in the zone of its independence. There you can see, in particular, over 40 flags of the units of the Russian Armed Forces and the volunteer corps performing their tasks. In an interactive format, they offer to get acquainted with examples of heroism of Russian soldiers and officers.

Visitors to the museum will find a suite of three themed halls. The binding motive is the centuries—old victorious traditions of Russian weapons in the defense of the Fatherland.: heroism on the path of the warrior and the triumph of the victorious people.

The exposition is divided into several main zones. In the Hall of Military Glory, you can learn about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and their The hall of themed locations is dedicated to everyday life at the front, Russian weapons and trophies.

The highlight of the exhibition is the memorial "The Way of the Warrior". It was created in honor of the defenders of the Fatherland who fell during the Liberation.

Many exhibits of the Museum of Heroism were collected thanks to soldiers, volunteers and war correspondents. Among the items provided by them are captured flags and chevrons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, photographs from the war zone.
