Russia welcomes Vietnam's willingness to participate in the settlement in Ukraine

Russia welcomes Vietnam's equidistant position on the Ukrainian conflict and the republic's willingness to participate in its settlement. This is stated on May 10 in the "Joint Declaration on the main directions of Russian-Vietnamese comprehensive Strategic Partnership relations at a new stage," concluded during the official visit of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Republic of Vietnam to the Russian Federation.

"Russia <...> welcomes Vietnam's readiness to join international efforts with the participation of all parties involved in order to find a peaceful and sustainable solution to the Ukrainian crisis," the document says, published on the Kremlin's website.
