A riot has started in a psychiatric clinic for criminals in Germany 

A riot broke out in a psychiatric clinic for criminals in the city of Cleves after a 27-year-old intoxicated patient lost his temper and barricaded himself inside. This was reported by the Bild newspaper on May 10.

According to journalists, more and more special forces units are arriving at the clinic, some of them are being transported by patrol helicopters, and cars with ramps are being driven to the walls of the hospital to help the special forces get over the walls.

Police say that some of the clinic's staff were able to get out of the building, but there may be hostages inside.

It is also reported that the clinic building is on fire, and several special forces officers have donned closed-circuit breathing suits and are preparing to enter.

It is not yet clear how the patient was able to gain access to alcoholic beverages and whether he has hostages.

The Proceso portal reported on February 4 that a riot took place in Villahermosa prison in Mexico, in which at least seven people died. This happened as a result of an escape attempt made by a prisoner who is considered to be the instigator of the riots.
