Maduro laid flowers at the monument "Mother Motherland" in St. Petersburg

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro laid flowers at the Mother Motherland monument at the Piskarevskoye Memorial Cemetery in St. Petersburg in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Footage from the scene is published on May 10 by Izvestia.

It is specified that the spouse of the President of Venezuela also took part in the event.

Maduro arrived in Moscow on May 7 to participate in celebrations marking the anniversary of the Victory. During this visit, he and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an agreement on strategic cooperation between the two countries.
