The My District project for free tours of Moscow will significantly expand its geography in 2025. The number of districts where walking tours with professional guides will be held will increase to 100, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.

Since the launch of the project in 2022, about 600 excursions have been conducted, and more than 35,000 people have joined them, Sobyanin stressed in his blog.

In 2025, the program will include for the first time the districts of Khovrino, Nekrasovka, Strogino, Shcherbinka, Moskvorechye-Saburovo, Marino, Voykovsky, Nizhny Novgorod, Vernadsky Avenue and others.

The tours will take place throughout the year in three stages: from March to May, from June to August, and from September to December. The project involves leading guides from Moscow, each of whom has an author's style. Among them are historians, musicians, and actors.

Popular routes include a walk through the arboretum with a cherry grove in Biryulyovo Vostochnoye, a Ramenka tour with a visit to the Mosfilm film studio and Andrei Tarkovsky's house. In Khovrino, the guides will tell you about the Grachev estate in the Monte Carlo casino style, and in Moskvorechye-Saburovo - about the history of boyar Saburov and the connection of the area with the Rurik dynasty.

In total, the project has planned more than 1,000 free walks through Moscow parks, embankments, streets and alleys.
