North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has declared his readiness to provide military assistance to Russia in the event of an attack by US allies. This was reported on May 10 by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
"If we turn a blind eye to the blatant nature of the military actions of the Ukrainian puppets against the territorial integrity of the nuclear state, they may eventually dare to take even more reckless actions," KCNA quoted Kim Jong-un as saying.
He also noted that such actions could inspire "top-notch US henchmen in the person of the military from Seoul." The head of the DPRK stressed that reckless actions will spread like a "contagious virus", such mistakes must be prevented.
At the end of the Victory Day Parade on Red Square on May 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed his best wishes and words of gratitude to all the soldiers of the DPRK. He separately approached the military of the Korean army at the end of the solemn part and talked with the military personnel. They thanked him for appreciating their service.
