A pedestrian was killed in an accident in the Stavropol Territory.
In the Mineralovodsk district, a man ran over a pedestrian, who died before the ambulance crew arrived. This was reported on May 10 in the press service of the Stavropol Territory State Traffic Inspectorate.
"According to preliminary data, on May 9 at about 20:30 on the 336th km of the Kochubey- Neftekumsk–Zelenokumsk–Mineralnye Vody highway, the driver of a Geely car, moving from the city of Mineralnye Vody in the direction of Georgievsk, hit a pedestrian crossing the roadway outside a pedestrian crossing without retroreflective elements on outerwear," — it is said in a message on the Telegram channel of the department.
It is specified that the deceased was a 29-year-old resident of the Mineralovodsk district, and he was hit by a 57-year-old resident of Georgievsk with 28 years of driving experience. Law enforcement officers are conducting an investigation into the incident.
On May 4, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Novosibirsk region reported that a driver in a Chery Arrizo car hit a man crossing the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing area. As a result of the accident, a man died in an ambulance on his way to the hospital.
