European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa have arrived on an official visit to Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden. After leaving the Prime Minister's residence on May 9, European leaders accidentally bumped into citizens who took part in a memorial rally in honor of the 80th Victory.

In the footage posted by eyewitnesses on the social network X (ex. Twitter), residents of Luxembourg came to the event with Soviet flags and sang the song "Victory Day".

"The trio did not dare to follow the planned route past the parliament," one of the eyewitnesses commented on the incident.
