Putin meets with the President of Uzbekistan in the Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the leader of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was announced on May 9 by the Kremlin's press service.

"Vladimir Putin met with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the Kremlin," the press service said.

It is specified that the conversation between the heads of state was the end of the program of bilateral meetings between them.

During the celebrations, Moscow will become the diplomatic capital.

On May 9, Putin met with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. During the meeting, he stressed that Russia would do everything necessary to restore relations with Slovakia. The Russian President also thanked Fico for coming to Moscow, despite the difficulties that had arisen.
