In the Kursk region, a 65-year-old man was injured as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on May 9 by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.

"Today, the enemy shelled the village of Zvannoye in the Glushkovsky district, hitting a residential building. A 65-year—old man was injured as a result of the shelling," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the elderly man has multiple shrapnel wounds to his body. He received first aid. In addition, the man will be taken to the hospital in the near future.

On May 7, Khinstein reported that Ukrainian militants had attacked two enterprises in the Kursk region. It was clarified that the blow was inflicted on the Promsakhar LLC motor transport workshop in the village of Kuibyshev, Rylsky district, as a result of which the roof, windows, facade, excavator and cars of employees were damaged.
