In Poland, police detained a man because of the Soviet flag.

In Poland, police officers detained a man who carried the Soviet flag at a public event. Footage of the detention on May 9 is available to Izvestia.
"I took out the Victory banner — the banner of the Soviet Union, the country that liberated Poland from Hitlerism. I started waving it around, and of course they started shouting at me when I wanted to tell the historical truth.: that it was the Soviet Union that liberated Poland and saved the Polish people from biological extermination," said Arkadiusz Demonecki, a detainee.
According to him, at some point an unknown woman began to snatch the flag from him. As a result, he started waving it around to drive her away from him. In addition, the police did not respond to the woman's actions in any way. However, when Demonetsky hit a citizen on the head with a flag, the police decided to intervene.
"And this shows the bias of the police, who apparently want to revive the traditions of the "grenade police" during the Nazi occupation," the detainee added.
He noted that eventually his flag was forcibly confiscated by police officers.
Earlier that day, in Kiev, Ukraine, a pensioner was detained near the Eternal Flame, who came to lay flowers in a Soviet cap. It was noted that the policeman stated that the woman would have to give explanations at the department. In response, she said that she had already been to the police six times.
