Dmitriev pointed to Russia's willingness to expand fertilizer supplies to Brazil.


Russia is ready to expand fertilizer supplies to Brazil, as well as to modern projects in this area. This was announced on May 9 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).
"Brazil receives about 25% of all imported fertilizers from Russia, and we are ready to deepen cooperation in this area both in terms of expanding trade supplies and in joint production projects on local territories," Dmitriev wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, Brazil is one of Russia's key partners in Latin America. He also added that currently the two countries are actively working to launch joint projects in the field of medicine, industry and mining.
On May 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during talks with Brazilian leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, noted the mutual work to strengthen relations between the two countries.He stressed that relations between Russia and Brazil are developing steadily. High-level contacts are maintained, as well as bilateral trade is developing.
