The reprint of the newspaper Izvestia for May 9, 1945, which was presented as a gift to the guests of the Victory Day Parade in Moscow, is a real treasure, as it allows you to preserve the memory of the Great Victory. This was stated on May 9 by Cuban journalist Hansel Pavel Oro Oro.

"There, too, journalists wrote these articles, which I will be happy to read. Which I try to read with my Russian. <...> The most important thing is that this is a story, and it is transmitted through the media, and the media is the media," he said.

The Cuban noted that the "legendary" newspaper Izvestia was able to preserve this story.

"As [Russian President] Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin said, history must be preserved so as not to repeat our mistakes. Therefore, these [gifts], even the pencil that we were given, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory, plus the newspaper, will be a treasure for all of us," the journalist concluded.

Earlier that day, the Izvestia correspondent reported that the guests of the parade were presented with a backpack with a gift set. In addition to the reprint of the newspaper, the backpack contains a cap, a box with binoculars, a blanket, a raincoat, a St. George ribbon and other items.
