On May 8, the winners of the International Drawing Contest "Postcard of Victory" were awarded at the Victory Museum. The competition, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War, was held by the Victory Museum and the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation.

"This year's Victory Postcard contest has become a truly national project that unites people of different ages, and has broken all records: we have received more than 35,000 works from various parts of Russia - from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka," the Victory Museum said.
One of the best works is the drawing "May" by 6—year-old Vasilisa Gavrilenko from Moscow. She took 1st place in the age category of 6-8 years. In the age category of 9-11 years, the winner was 10-year-old Ekaterina Skripkina from the Moscow region. The first place was also taken by 12-year-old Veronika Polishchuk from the Kemerovo region (12-14 years old) and 32-year-old Olga Ikim from the Saratov region (over 18 years old). Now the best works selected by the jury have become collectible Victory Day greeting cards.

Prizes were also awarded in special nominations from the Movement of the First, the Presidential Academy of the RANEPA, Kuber and the Victory Museum. In total, more than 100 people became laureates of the competition.
The presentation of the souvenir banknote "We remember! We are proud! We honor!" from the series "Museums. The memory of the ages." It is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the 30th anniversary of the Victory Museum and the feat of home front workers who selflessly helped the front during the war years. On both sides of the banknote are placed key exhibits of the Victory Museum and its branches, as well as symbols of peace, freedom and hope.
"Together with the Perm Printing Factory of Goznak, we have created a truly interesting and important project through which residents of our large country can learn more about the Victory Museum, the features of our collection and, of course, once again turn over the most important pages of history and honor the memory of those who help us see the peaceful sky above our heads. A large team of specialists from the Victory Museum and the Perm Printing Factory of Goznak worked on the project," the Victory Museum noted.
All participants received personalized certificates, and the main winners were awarded sets of collectible postcards and prizes from partners. In addition, the winners visited the grandiose exposition of the Museum "Feat of the People".
