Festive fireworks in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory thundered in Moscow

Fireworks were held in Moscow on Friday on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Bright fireworks colored the Moscow sky at 22:00 Moscow time. Guests could watch the fireworks from the observation deck in Victory Park on Poklonnaya Gora and from other points of the city.

The audience saw more than 10,000 fireworks of various types, including rare patriotic patterns such as the "star", "Guards cross" and the symbolic "Victory salute".

Special effects and musical accompaniment became an innovation: audio synchronization with military compositions was played for the first time at some venues, coinciding with the launch of volleys.

In total, the guests heard 30 volleys with intervals from 20 to 30 seconds.
